How Long Will High Price of Autos Last?

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 12:03 pm

As the depreciation of the dollar, the U.S. cars have become very cheap and cheap for exporting to China. We have to use anti-dumping procedures to prevent the "low prices" of United States car, although we know that Americans will not do a losing trade. While the appreciation of the euro makes European automobile production become very expensive, parts are expensive, the appreciation of the RMB is expected to continue, which will make China the relative prices of "overseas" to become "more expensive", but also make some of our people more psychological imbalance.

China's major automotive group have an average profit margin of about 8%, far higher than the world average of 3-5%, indicating that prices still have the space of reducing. However, artificially high price has no direct relationship with "exchange market for technology". It mainly due to soaring demand in recent years and lack of supply, not mature consumers, lack of cost models which can determine the ability to make the right choice.

Why we have to spend more than double the price compare with consumers in developed countries to buy a car? Ten years ago, this topic has deeply hurt many people's hearts. Today, the question becomes, "Chinese consumers are still using 50% higher than overseas prices to buy international brand cars”.
